Hello I’m still new to Ignition I’m using 8.0 and I’m trying to use html to display text within a text area when a certain option is chosen from a drop down menu. My problem is when I look at the displayed text it has all my html code visible I’ve tried putting quotes around each piece of html code and that didnt help. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Fundamental question: Are you using Vision, or Perspective?

If the latter, you _cannot_ use arbitrary HTML in components; it will always be escaped for you. You can change the appearance of individual items using style classes, or, if you need inline text styling, use the Markdown component.
