# I need help to connect my PLC with Ignition OPC UA server (New User)

Dear all  
I'm electromechanical student and I have a project to realize. I downloaded Ignition Maker edition and everything works well. for Now the first step is to connect my PLC to Ignition OPC UA server. the PLC mark siemens S7-1200 connected to Internet and I have the IP address. so Please I need Instruction to connect the PLC to the server.

Also, going through the free video training at [Inductive University](https://www.inductiveuniversity.com/courses/ignition/ignition-overview/8.1) should be worth while.
