# Icon library for perspective only partially selectible

hi  
I am trying to learn perspective and noticed that in the standard perspective icon folder there are libraries like symbol\_p&id which are not selectable when using icon component. Does anybody know what might be the reason?

Those symbol files are used for the Symbol components: [Perspective - Symbols Palette - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC81/Perspective+-+Symbols+Palette)

They aren’t directly usable as icons.
