I have a barcode scanner receiver that I want to have send messages to a UDP driver in Ignition (I previously had the barcode scanners configured for UDP with a UDP listener in Node-RED but this option is no longer available given a hardware change).

I have the port number and IP address configured correctly and am able to see the correct values coming through in Windows Powershell, however I don't see any tags to subscribe to in the OPC quick client, just an empty header with no folders or tags underneath it.

I have read that there is supposed to be a "message" tag to subscribe to for a UDP driver in Ignition so I'm not sure why that is not showing up in the quick client.

I also checked Wrieshark and the UDP messages are showing up there.

Can you check the connection on the connection page? If its disconnected you will not see any tags underneath. You will have the following when its connected.

I found the issue. Please remove the `&` and replace it with `_` In the device name I have created a ticket for this there is an issue with the query string when browsing the node in the quick client. If you were to look at this in the Opc Browser in the designer you would see the tags underneath.
