Good day!

Is it possible to configure the map element for perspective to use google maps (or something else) instead of openstreetmap?

No, not currently. Leaflet’s expectation for a tile provider doesn’t mesh well with Google Maps. We have plans to add a first-party Google maps component.

In the short term, an embedded iframe might be the best way to go.
