# \[IGN-6738\] Regression 8.1.20/21: Nested binding Doesn't work after copy & Paste

From Ignition v8.1.20 after duplicating or copying & pasting, the nested binding doesn't execute until I close and open the view.

As the following image shows the color property doesn't work after pasting and I need to trigger it either by closing and opening the view or opening the binding to trigger it.

I was able to reproduce locally and have created a ticket to address this. Thanks for the report!
