# Ignition 7.6.7 version to 8.1

Someone has migrated an Ignition 7.6.7 to 8.1?  
Is necessary to follow some rules?

Don't forget to check with IA for your license status. If you aren't under paid support, you'll have to pay a substantial upgrade fee.
