# Ignition 7.9.9: Component \> PowerTable \> onCellEdited (Editable Cell) event never fire

Hi,

why the “onCellEdited” event of an “editable cell” of a “PowerTable component” is never fired?  
i follow this guide [https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Updating+the+Database+through+the+Power+Table](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Updating+the+Database+through+the+Power+Table) but nothing happens updating value on cell. Is it a bug?

Sorry, the Output console show me that the error is in the runPrepUpdate.
