Hi everyone,

I’m using **Ignition 8.1 Perspective** and working with the **Vessel symbol that includes an agitator**.

I’m able to:

- Animate the agitator rotation

- Control the rotation speed dynamically using tag bindings

The only issue I’m facing is that I **cannot change the rotation direction** (clockwise vs counter-clockwise). The agitator always rotates in the same direction, and I don’t see any exposed property or setting to control direction.

My questions:

- Is the rotation direction fixed for the built-in Vessel agitator?

- Is there any supported way in Perspective to control or reverse the rotation direction using bindings, transforms, or styles?

Any clarification or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you having a laugh? The animation on the vessel is a shrink and expand of the agitator elements in the horizontal direction. There is no direction to this animation, its a visual illusion that it "rotates" at all.

Brilliant!

When you have a genuinely directional animation you can use CSS transform. For example: [Perspective Centrifugal Pump Animation Help - #2 by Transistor](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/perspective-centrifugal-pump-animation-help/73867/2).
