Hi,

I want to track changes of parameters in SCADA. I heard that Audit Log is the best way to do that. Does it require another license? My license features following:

- unlimited clients, tags and designers
- Alarm Notification Module
- Industrial Historian Suite including SQL Historian + Historian Core
- Perspective Module
- Reporting Module
- SQL Bridge Module
- Symbol Factory
- Ignition Platform

You don't need another license, it comes with the core platform.

To be most specific, auditing is a platform feature, but must be specifically configured and enabled.

After you've created an audit profile of any type, you then need to enable it in your project:

> **[Enabling Auditing in a Project - Audit Log and Profiles | Ignition User Manual](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.3/platform/audit-log-and-profiles#enabling-auditing-in-a-project)**
>
> Ignition's built-in auditing system automatically records certain actions that occur in the system, such as a Tag writes or User Source authentication, into a SQL database table. Utilizing the system involves creating an Audit Profile, followed by...

At which point certain user actions in Vision or Perspective (e.g. writing to tags) will automatically emit entries in the audit log.
