So I inherited an Ignition Gateway (8.0.9), and there are multiple alarm journals configured.

I am creating a new project and want to specify which alarm journal to use, but I cannot find that setting anywhere I look. I’ve tried going through the manual and forums and can’t figure out.

I get to retrieve it, I can just specify the journal name in the Alarm Journal object. But does anyone know how to specify which alarm journal I want my project to use to store alarm data?

Any help is appreciated.

-Thanks

It comes down to how you configure your alarm journals. Look at the data filters in the [journal properties](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC80/Alarm+Journal) in the manual.

Thanks again.
