If gateway has connection to DB (separate server) but ignition clients has no connection to a DB server but has to gateway - is they will be able access data from a DB ?
Is there any restrictions for this case?

There are quite a few ways to restrict or limit client access to the information in the db. Is there something specific that you are concerned about?
