# Ignition client launching on different window

Hi Ignition community,

I've been curious about how ignition determines which screen to launch the client on. (for a vision client 7.9.21). I have three monitors on my work setup but it doesn't always launch in the main display (according to my windows). I've tried restarting the gateway, clearing the client launcher data folder (next to cache) but it shows on a monitor where I don't want it to.

You may have to make do with lesser (or broken) functionality in v7.9.
