# Ignition demo on Edge?

Hello; I am currently in the process of trying to demo the capabilities of Edge for my company, and when I saw the ignition demo project, I thought it would do a really good job of showing it off, however I have been having trouble getting it to run on Edge; so would this even be possible to accomplish?

You can use the trial version of edge. You will just have to reset after 2 hours.

Edge doesn’t do databases. Non-trivial projects in full Ignition use databases.

Is there a edge project in exchange or a standard template to begin with ?

I don't know of any. But be careful--if you don't already know that Edge is a good fit for your needs, it almost certainly is **not**. You should use the standard edition to learn on.
