Hi
Does anybody know how long are audit logs in Ignition Edge kept for? I don't see any configuration for this on the gateway. On full ignition obviously there are a lot more settings for auditing to set up number of days and which database to use.
Regards

Probably the same time limit as for history: one week.

> Ignition Edge delivers data acquisition and HMI capabilities at the network's edge. For as low as $500, you can easily implement an edge computing solution.

Yes, Phil is correct. Retention of audit logs is 7 days for edge.

Is there a way to archive these audit logs, e.g. to a full gateway or a file server?

Thank you
André

Yes, you can sync audit logs to a "full" Ignition gateway:

> **[Configuring Sync Services | Ignition User Manual](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/other-editions/ignition-edge/edge-gateway/configuring-sync-services#remote-audit-settings)**
>
> Data Synchronization

The data itself is also stored in a SQLite file on disk in the gateway's installation directory. You can copy that file out somewhere yourself and persist it, but it's not possible (deliberately) within the constraints of the Edge license to do this automatically.

Sync the audit log to a full gateway is perfect. Thank you for the link!
