I’m pretty sure the answer is going to be that tag history has to be cleared from outside the project on Ignition Edge, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least ask. Is there something I can do with scripting to just delete everything? Customer has a “Factory Reset” button they click to clear out all the process data and alarms and events after they’ve finished commissioning so that everything is fresh when the unit arrives on-site. They’d really rather not have to go into the OS of the edge device and delete files, or mess with the gateway webpage, so I figured I’d ask the long-shot question if there’s some other method that can be done within an edge project?

Sorry, previous comment was incorrect, I don't know if Edge has access to named queries

Hi Brian, I don’t think there is a way to do this since the data is stored locally in an internal database(idb files). Which requires to have access to the os to clear all the data. Probably have uninstall and reinstall ignition make sure to create a gwbk before doing any of this
