I have some questions about ignition edge I hope someone can help with:

1. Can the built in historian storage location be changed from default? And where is default?
2. How can I increase the gateway memory allocation? I have done this previously by modifying the ignition.conf file but cannot find this in my ignition edge installation.
3. How can I change the project name? When I go to the project settings on the gateway, I can change the title but not the project name. Why is this?
4. What kind of general pc spec are most using for ignition edge? My project has around 30000 tags but seems to be running well with the default memory settings etc.

Not sure if these are just some of the limitations with edge or not.
Thanks in advance.

1. No.
2. Look harder for ignition.conf. What OS are you using?
3. No, Edge only allows one project and its name is locked.
4. All over the map. From the tiniest Opto-22 Groov to full-equipped servers. Totally dependent on the load you are applying.

Thanks @pturmel.
I did find the ignition.conf file in "my documents" after doing a scan of the C Drive.

That is a very strange place to find it. Did you install to a non-standard location?

Yes potentially, it was installed by another user on a test VM so I cannot comment personally.
