We have script that we run under the Gateway in Ignition.
Is it possible to do the same with Edge, it seems that there is no Gateway, but I think we could use the system timer to run the same scripts, is it true?

Edge very deliberately has no scripting support in the gateway. What system timer are you referring to?

Under System\Gateway\CurrentDateTime
Guess, this is also not available?

System\Client\System\CurrentDateTime has no scripting availability as well.

So, no luck?
right?

Right. Tag events are gateway scripts, too, and Edge doesn't allow them.

FWIW, it’s not a surprising restriction for a dirt-cheap license. Scripting can get around many (most?) of the platform restrictions, like opening your own jdbc connections, so it just can’t be compatible with that cheap license.
