# Ignition in MAC

Hi

I’m thinking of using Ignition direct in my Mac (up til now have used it thought a Windows VM). Having downloaded it I can’t seems to find the Gateway Utility where you can monitor the Gateway Status, Start / Stop / Restart etc and once you shutdown the Java ![2019-04-12_12-49-40](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/2X/b/b64155fa56c281b694df2f08f2540efd98cb1449.jpeg) I can’t seem to restart webpage…

In your Terminal app, navigate to your Ignition folder and then use `igntition.sh start` (or stop or restart). You may need to add execute permissions before the first use.
