# Ignition Perspective demo via the Ignition Perspective Android

When launching the Ignition Perspective demo via the Ignition Perspective Android app, it hangs indefinitely on the "LAUNCHING PERSPECTIVE DEMO" screen.

Anyone else has this issue and knows how to solve it?  
Android Version 10  
One UI Version 2.1  
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.5) Model SM-T597P

Hi @andy.hernandez !

There were some recent changes to our Public Demo hosting that we're currently aligning in the default demo of the Perspective App. These changes will be available in the next release of the app.

In the meantime, an easy workaround is to delete the existing **Online Demo** and manually input the Public Demo URL `https://demo.ia.io`.

Then, select the `Features Demo` project. This will get you going again!

Below are the instructions for adding a Gateway connection with the new Perspective Demo path.

Open the Perspective app and click on the plus icon in the top right corner:

Click on the "Gateway Search" button:

Click on the "Manually Input Gateway" button:

Type "https://[demo.ia.io](http://demo.ia.io/)" into the Gateway URL field:

Select "Features Demo":
