Hello Folks,

I am a student from a University in Denmark and I'm currently working together with a production company. They want to improve their On-Time-Delivery performance and they had a digitalization plan in mind. Currently they have no SCADA system whatsoever. They scan pallets via barcode and their MES systems tells leaders or managers, WHEN they started the batch, and WHEN they closed the batch. There is no realtime data that they can use to prevent stoppages or use the real-time data to make important decisions.

Now my question:

Would you recommend a SCADA system? if yes, what of the Inductive Automation would you consider the best option for us? and also what would the total cost be for software licens, integration with the existing systems, such as SAP (ERP-system) MES and PLC, and training?

thanks in advance

Geo
