Hello, I'm having an issue with Ignition reporting not following my number format for a couple of columns that have floating point values from a database.

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/5/8/5852e6544c133b1874da77ec0ba61c33d69d7f42.png)

It seems to not be applying the number format to some of the gray rows as the white rows are not having this issue.

The last 2 columns are the ones I'm referring to.

This is also my number format pattern:

Please let me know if I left out any other critical information for this issue.

Thank you!

Hi @daniel.diaz, welcome to the Forums.

This is because you're using Alternate row versioning and the Alternate version does not have the number format applied.

What I would do, is remove the alternate row version, apply all your formatting to the Standard row, then add the Alternate version so it inherits all formatting from the Standard row.

Hey thanks for the help, but currently I think when this report was made they used standard? I might be misunderstanding this but this is what I see:

Is there another set of properties I may be missing?

That won't be enough to tell. You need to interact with the table and change the row versioning.

Then the property tree will change:

Have you ever come across the issue where if you change to alternate and then go to preview it doesn't save changes even after saving the project. Seems that the report isn't holding my changes.

No, I've never had that issue. You might need to press Enter or click away from some property fields for them to stick.
