First party, via the Webdev module:

> **[Web Dev | Ignition User Manual](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/ignition-modules/web-dev)**
>
> The Web Dev module enables you to directly program against the web server inside the Ignition Gateway. Webpages can be built by hand using a combination of Python programming and static web resources such as images, CSS files, JavaScript files, and...

You could use a DB, a folder on disk, or anything else you can connect to from Ignition's Jython to store your images.

Eventually, we plan to offer some first party functionality for this use case, but not anytime soon.

Third party, Phil's [Blob Server](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/automation-professionals-blob-server-module/57970) module is free and can accomplish the same basic goal, with the restriction of only working with a DB to store files.
