How do i display an image from image management in the paintable canvas? I found this link with explanation, but it contains only url’s or databases?
[https://support.inductiveautomation.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/110/2/working-with-the-paintable-canvas-component](https://support.inductiveautomation.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/110/2/working-with-the-paintable-canvas-component)

Images in Image Management are hosted by the gateway directly:
eg:

Also from @paul-griffith -

> You want the [ImageLoader](http://files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/javadoc/ignition79/795/com/inductiveautomation/ignition/client/images/ImageLoader.html) class. Usage would be something like: from com.inductiveautomation.ignition.client.images import ImageLoader myImage = ImageLoader.getInstance().loadImage("path/to/image.png") #java Image class myImageBytes = ImageLoader.getInstance().loadBytes("path/to/image.png") #byte array of image data

Not sure which would be better, they both look like they take the same sorts of arguments.
