# Imported tags from 7.9 don't match the tags shown in 8.1

I am doing some gateway migrations from 7.9.21 to 8.1.52. I exported the project and the tags from 7.9 and imported it all into 8.1. The screens and display values look good except that I have properties missing in the imported tags that I had in the exported tags. The application uses these tags for display purposes, so I do need them. I’ve done several migrations and have not run into this issue before. Just curious if anyone else has and what they did to get the correct tags imported.

The alert\* and alarm\* sub properties were deprecated in the tag system rewrite in 8.0. They'll continue to work, for backwards compatibility, but any new code you write should use the new alarm related properties, which show up once you configure an alarm on the tag:
