# ImportError: no module named shared

Hello,  
I am receiving this error:

Java: Azul Systems, Inc. 9.0.7.4

on a custom template with a propertyChange event handler:

and the custom method “check” is failing on the following line:  
import shared.Util.Validate as validate

You don’t have to import script resources. Just use it as a method.

```auto
validate = shared.Util.Valite(params**)

```
