# Importing CSV tags

Tried to convert an Excel (latest version) file of my alarm list to CSV so I could import them as tags but it gives me an error “unknown CSV format” even though I have converted it to several different CSV formats. Any thoughts?

I just want to use the data in my Excel sheet in Ignition without having to retype all the text into the alarms.
