I'm new to perspective and was wondering what would be the best way to create a "template" similarly to what I'm used to do on vision.
The Idea is to have a view with the tag path passing the params to the embedded views as below:

By linking the objects in the embedded vies to the UDT, I thought that I could change the child views easily but I'm stuck in that topic. Any ideas?

There are a variety of ways of achieving what you want and someone will probably suggest some. Meanwhile, a very simple approach is to use the left border of the label as the indicator.

Just put a binding on `style.borderColor` to change to indicator status.

I'm not sure I understand what the issue is, can you explain where you're stuck ?

It sounds like maybe you should be taking advantage of the [Flex Repeater](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC81/Perspective+-+Flex+Repeater).
