## Filter table data using where()

A very simple example of using the where() filter on the Perspective table component's default data.

> **Expression binding on custom property**
>
> ```python
> where(
> {this.props.data},
> it()['country'] = 'China' // case sensitive.
> )
>
> ```

> **Features employed**
>
> - [where()](https://www.automation-pros.com/toolkit/doc/iteration.html#where) prunes the source data according to supplied conditional expressions.
> - [it()](https://www.automation-pros.com/toolkit/doc/iteration.html#it) retrieves the loop value for an iterator from inside the nested expression.
