I am trying to connect osi pi database to Ignition database.

I have configer osi pi JDBC driver with dbVisualizer and can successfully see my tables and data.

And when I connect osi pi with Ignition the driver is connected correctly and shows installed and database connction says valid, however I can’t read data tables in the DB Browser and the error below is shown;

"
GatewayException: Unable to read response fron Gateway.
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The end-tag for element type “Response” must end with a ‘\>’ deliminter.
"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like there was another person with the same error you experienced:

Running a named query or a perspective based system.db.runQuery against this driver yields this error: GatewayException: sun.nio.ch.DirectBuffer.cleaner()Lsun/misc/Cleaner; caused by NoSuchMethodError: sun.nio.ch.DirectBuffer.cleaner()Lsun/misc/Cleaner; Running a query within Vision, the Script Console, or the Database Query Browser yields the expected returned results, though I receive a HttpChan…

Maybe try what Kevin mentioned in that thread

I am also looking for any feedback on this. I have read that Rockwell compression method does not play well with accessing from other connectors.
