# IOException Undefined StackMapTable

I was trying to look through the Demo project using the latest version of Ignition and the Demo gateway backup located on the Extra Downloads page. When I attempt to launch I get an error message saying

“Error Launching Application:  
IOException: undefined StackMapTable  
attribute (old archive format)”

What version of Ignition are you using?

I am using version 7.6.3 (b2013090513), but I ended up re-installing my VM and it resolved the issue

Similar issue happened when I built and tried to run a custom module with Ignition 7.7.0 beta4 in a Java 8 environment.
