Hello,
I am setting up a redundant pair of Ignition servers.
Up to now I have succesfully setup redundancy, and I can do failover. My client is also able to switch to current active node.
I am currently following [Ignition's OPC UA Server | Ignition User Manual](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/ignition-modules/opc-ua/ignitions-opc-ua-server#opc-ua-client-redundancy) and saw that server URI (ns=0;i=2254) are the same for master and backup. I was not expecting this from what I could read in the manual.
I regenerated server certificates, download them and inspect them, the URI is still the same in the SAN field.

Can someone shade a bit of light of what is going on here. How critical is it to follow instructions in [Ignition's OPC UA Server | Ignition User Manual](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/ignition-modules/opc-ua/ignitions-opc-ua-server#opc-ua-client-redundancy)

Thanks

In the process of setting up redundancy as well and ran into the same issue. Hopefully there's an answer soon.

It’s “normal” in the sense that it is a known and unfixable bug for 8.1 ☹

This has been fixed for 8.3 though.
