Hi all,

twice I have had this problem now and both times it took a number of interactions with the customer that I generally felt uncomfortable with:

A trial user had bought a full license and I handed out the information for installing the new license.

Unfortunately Ignition adds the second license to the list. Now my module checked and at first everything looked as if it worked fine. However at the time the old trial expired customers kept calling support. The UI says: "License active" and the module says "License expired". In the end it turned out that the customer had two entries in the list ...one expired and one active. It seems Ignition only checked the first and as that failed denied activation of the plugin.

Could ignition not check "all possible licenses" and pass the first active one?

Chris

Why are you issuing two licenses? Convert the trial license to paid by altering its parameters, then have the user **refresh** it on the gateway licensing page.

Hmmm ... I guess I could possibly update my CRM to do that ... I guess I just am not 100% familiar with the "workflows". Still it was almost impossible to diagnose.
