# It is necessary to clear the cache for the changes to take effect

Good morning.

After **upgrading** from Ignition 7.9.9 to Ignition **8.0.6** , all global resources (libraries and templates) have been moved to the “ **global** ” project. This is fine, but now when I update a function in a **shared script** , the changes are refreshed correctly in the designer, **but not in the client** (runtime).

To correct the problem, I have to close the designer, **clear the cache** and reopen the designer:

This incident also occurs in some " **SharedTemplates"**.

If you try to reproduce the issue, you need to know that I have unchecked the “Allow Override” option in all shared resources (libraries and templates)
