First, I have looked at the other threads relative to the "Channel is not set" errors, and they are more specific to the OP's situation from what I saw. I understand this is some sort of connectivity issue and wanted to provide our system's log message details in hopes someone can provide any direction to point me in.

The wrapper log message is:

> java.io.IOException: Channel is not set.
> **at com.inductiveautomation.perspective.gateway.model.PageModel.send(PageModel.java:363)**
> at com.inductiveautomation.perspective.gateway.model.PropertySyncManager$SendUpdates.run(PropertySyncManager.java:224)
> at java.base/java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Unknown Source)
> at java.base/java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(Unknown Source)
> at java.base/java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source)
> at java.base/java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source)
> at com.inductiveautomation.perspective.gateway.threading.BlockingWork$BlockingWorkRunnable.run(BlockingWork.java:58)
> at java.base/java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Hovering over the magnifying glass in the log entry, I get this:

We don't have a view named "Header" in this project.
I'm at a loss as to what is causing this Sync error in the logs.

Any insight as to what that log message is trying to communicate?

Thanks!

Follow up:

So these messages are hitting the wrapper log every second. Looking at details of more of these, I noticed something I consider odd. In the following images, the project-name and the session-project are different (same as the previous image above):

The views noted do exist in the project id'd in the project-name but not in the session-project.

How would there be different projects in these two fields?

There are other log messages that have Digital\_Milling in bot fields, so I'm expecting this to be associated with that project. Here are a couple of examples (NOTE: the actual log messages are exactly the same for all the log entries I've compared.):

Unfortunately, I am not sure how to even start debugging this.

Did you find out what this was?

No, not exactly. We allowed the errors to persist until our next deploy, at which time the Ignition service was stopped. After the deploy and restart of the service, the errors were no longer being logged. Because of this, i think there may have been a session on the Gateway that it thought was still active, but actually wasn't (or something similar). On the bouncing of the Gateway, things started up fresh and whatever was causing it was flushed.

Sorry I can't provide more info.
