We want to use system.perspective.authenticationChallenge() to secure some actions on a HMI.
The goal is to use a badge login for authentication. The badge reader is connected as keyboard. The problem we face is, that the keyboard focus is not on the auth popup. Users need to tap the touchscreen first, before they are able to authenticate.
The HMI is running in Perspective Workstation and we are using the Ignition internal Idp.

Is there a way to give the auth popup the focus?

I ran into the same problem and have not found a solution. Instead, I set the framing to `self` to work around it. Not sure if this will work for your situation though.
