# Keyboard not working on Ignition 8.1

Hello!

Quick question, supposedly when touch screen mode is enabled on a project, a keyboard should pop up when you press on a text box, thing is... this is not happening on my project, the keyboard simply does not show up, anyone else had the same problem?

vision or perspective?  
if perspective in the app or on a browser?

If Vision, are you in the designer, or in an actual running client? Have you restarted the client completely since enabling touchscreen mode?

on both, designer and client not appearing the keyboard also restarted clients completely, a was thinking maybe the parent project had the touch mode disabled and that was causing the problem but the parent project also has the touch mode enable..
