Today, we are announcing the availability of our InfluxDB History module. his module is currently in beta, with us needing to wrap up a few more odds and ends. It is, however, ready for use. This module provides the ability for Ignition to send and query time series data from an InfluxDB server. It provides a high write capacity, while compressing data to disk. We have seen a single InfluxDB server service about 150,000 - 200,00 tag changes per second, on default settings. On the same spec of server, MySQL was only able to service about 15,000 tag changes per second. Enclosed is a example video created by @Eden.Mar , demonstrating some of its capabilities. Updated link with the properties issue fixed and a few issues fixed. Well done, influx DB is perfect for TSDB. Do you plan to provide some History splitter like feature ? A way to send data to multiple influx DB would be great ! And a S&F for the DB connection ! ---

Hi Mazeyrat, The history splitter built into Ignition does this already. You can split between multiple history sinks, and mix and match already. Also, we created a new disk based stored for the S&F system that our module uses, so it should be quite a bit more performant than the platform disk store. Kyle ---

I havent explicitly tested it, but it should. The easy chart and tag history bindings work fine, so the tag calculations should work as well. ---

Hi all, I’m encountering a classloading issue when trying to use the Kymera InfluxDB module v1.11.43.2 with Ignition 8.1.47. After installing the module, the gateway fails to start the historian provider and throws the following exception: ```python java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.arrow.memory.RootAllocator ... Caused by: java.lang.IllegalAccessError: class io.netty.buffer.UnsafeDirectLittleEndian cannot access its superclass io.netty.buffer.WrappedByteBuf (io.netty.buffer.UnsafeDirectLittleEndian is in unnamed module of loader com.inductiveautomation.ignition.gateway.modules.ModuleClassLoader; io.netty.buffer.WrappedByteBuf is in unnamed module of loader 'app') ``` **Has anyone else run into this?** Thanks in advance! ---

Not sure if it’s related, but on their website it says support for 8.1.x stops at .45 [2.83.2.1](https://kymera-modules.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/snmp/influx-2.83.2.1.modl) – Ignition 8.3.2 to 8.3.x latest. [1.11.43.2](https://kymera-modules.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/influxdb/influxdb-1.11.43.2.modl) – Ignition 8.1.43 to **8.1.45** latest ---

This issue has been resolved in [1.11.74.1](https://kymera-modules.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/influxdb/1.11.47.1.modl) release.
