Hi

I would like to know where does the time value in LastPublishedValue of a tag come from? What timezone does it consider and where does ignition get the value from?

This value is different from the Current Time. My time zone is EST. I would like to understand if the time value in **Last Published Value** is coming from the source of a particular tag or obtained internally from Ignition.

Hope you can help me.

For an OPC tag it comes from the OPC server.

Hi Kevin

Yes we figured that out after verifying with another OPC client and sw that it was clearly mentioned Server’s DateTime on that software. We are contacting Mitsubishi (our PLC and OPC Server provider) about this.

Thanks for the response.
