Does your Ignition Maker gateway have internet access? That is a requirement for Maker. It has to “call home” regularly.

1. Please don't post actual license keys for the public to see.
2. Maker licenses need an activation token, too.
3. Your gateway (not necessarily the machine running your browser) needs access to the internet to validate the license, and to repeat the validation regularly.
4. Ignition is a web server, and configuration is via a browser.

Look in your gateway install folder for the `logs` subfolder, and open the `wrapper.log` file. There is likely an error report in there that corresponds to the displayed activation failure, but with additional explanation.
