# Live changes to OPC server causes reading errors

I am running an Ignition gateway connected to an opc server with opc tags. I have different opc tags configured for different possible tags the opc server may publish based on its configuration.

When I switch the opc server to publish one config of tags instead of the other, Ignition fails to populate the new opc tags. I get the following error:

Restarting the gateway immediately resolves the error.

Any ideas what's going on here?

The client is trying to recover the latest values after reconnecting. I think this issue has been fixed, when 8.3.6 is available today or tomorrow please upgrade if you can.
