Is there any way to get V21 version of Logix on a V7.6 install? We are being told we need to upgrade our license at a cost of $8800 just to do this. This seems rather punitive as our client did not want to pay an annual Care package.

can just the drivers module be updated, or is best option to get a ‘free’ OPC-UA install with V7.7?

There’s no free drivers any more, but Ignition + OPC UA Module + AB Driver Suite is like $300 according to the price calculator on the website… so maybe just buy a license for that.

Paying $300 is more in line than paying $8000
