# Logout atutomatic happening when I leave connet tab for short time

Where can I set up after how long Ignition log out, now I feel is too quick. Sometimes a go to another tab for few minutes and log out, or the client goes for coffee and happen the same.

I think its configured from the project properties in the designer? Iirc, its a default of 10 minutes.

You're looking for a menu that references "inactivity"

This will be controlled by the IdP settings under **Session Inactivity Timeout**

**Gateway \> Platform \> Security \> Identity Providers \> Edit**
