# Map don't display

**Hello everyone!**

When I place the map component in my Ignition view, it doesn't display...

When I then click on ‘Launch Perspective’, nothing appears either...

However, when I'm not on the local host on the local development workstation, and I connect to the supervision via another PC, the map appears!

Do you have any idea what could be blocking the display on the local development workstation? 🤔

The Map component requires Internet access to download the map. I suspect that your local development workstation does not have Internet access.

Try opening a browser on that machine and go to [https://www.openstreetmap.org/](https://www.openstreetmap.org/).

If that doesn't work then you have an IT problem, not an Ignition problem.

[https://www.openstreetmap.org/](https://www.openstreetmap.org/) opens correctly, but the map doesn't load, as if I had to download the .xml file first ...

Use your browser's Developer Tools (F12), Network, All and refresh the page. Look at the status codes and see if there are any errors which might indicate something getting blocked.
