# Max time between samples not working

I am trending data on change with a min time of 1 second and a max time of 1 minute.

The data is not coming in unless the value changes. It is not logging data at the max time between samples.

Even if yhe value stays the same i want it to be logged at the max interval.

The time now on the computer is 718 am and it is showing the last value at 6 am which is when it typically changes.

What is going on?

I am on version 8.1.23 using vision

Hello Brian\_Cockrell,

Those settings seem to be correct and stored as expected on my gateway, do you see any errors in your logs related to storing history? This may be easier resolved by reaching out to [support](https://support.inductiveautomation.com/hc/en-us)
