Why does my memory tag have an initial value of NULL instead of the default value I specified in its definition. (Presumably that is its default initial value). This is cascading into other expression failures. Any thoughts on this??

This is a known issue with UDTs, which hasn’t yet been fixed. For expressions, you should be able to catch invalid values with the `try()` function.

“Should be able to”, but unfortunately may not due to a bug with the try() function still producing errors… fix will be in 7.9.5 I’m told.
