How to Set Poll Day Delay in Ignition, I see it shows only communication timeout in Modbus settings. Is there any backend setting available for this poll delay.

If you are after a setting to configure the poll rate for modbus tags, you would set up the individual tags in ignition then assign them to a Tag Group. The tag group specifies the rate that the Ignition gateway polls the tags for values.

If you mean delays **between** commands, no, Ignition's Modbus driver doesn't have a setting for that. As it happens, my alternate driver **does** have this setting:

Client mode, incorporating all three connection modes in one driver. Support for Modbus Function Codes 20 and 21, File Records. Configure protocol tweaks for troublesome devices per slave unit, enabling suppor…

Thanks David, this should solve the problem..

-Hello, No I wanted to have poll delay for entire device only. Actually IFIX SCADA has this feature as well, to set poll delay for each register/register groups. With ignition same can be achieved as David\_Stone suggested.
