# ModbusDriverExample - Blank Addresses Page

I’m trying to build a new driver for Ignition 7.9

As a starting point, I’ve downloaded the **ignition-sdk-examples/ModbusDriverExample** from github (7.9 branch). I built the project and then on my local instance of ignition 7.9 I uninstalled the default Modbus module and installed the version I’d built from the source code.

When I go to OPC-UA Server \> Devices and click on Details \> Addresses for a modbus device, the address configuration screen comes up blank.
