# Module written functions not displaying documentation consistently

So I'm running into issues occasionally where in designer scripting, function documentation will sometimes fail to display. When this happens, I would need to restart the module itself and then the documentation starts displaying correctly. I'm not 100% sure when or what causes the documentation to stop displaying correctly again.

And in the designer's script console, the documentation will never fail to display.

How should I approach tackling this problem? What could cause the function documentation to just stop displaying correctly?

There's a longstanding issue on the gateway with loaded bundles getting confused when you add/remove modules. But since module hot-loading is going away in 8.3, we're also probably never going to fix this. It's just something you'll have to suffer with through development.
