# Momentary Push buttons Double Triggering

I have momentary push buttons tied to a tag on the PLC, If I press and hold the button it triggers the button properly but when I let go the button pushes back up and the pushes down again for a second without any touch. I am guessing this has something to do with reading the tag from the PLC before it gets set back to zero.

Obligatory ‘Only use Momentary Push Buttons if absolutely necessary (which is usually never) and then only with a good understanding of their limitations and related failure modes’

Ok, with that out of the way, going to need a little more information. Can you provide a screen shot of how the button’s binding/s is/are configured, or if you are using and event script, what event are you using?

Just a tag binding on the control value, no scripting.
